Seeking Adult Literacy Tutors

Adult Literacy Tutors Needed
Volunteers are needed to tutor adults in one-on-one or small group settings. Literacy tutors teach reading, writing, numeracy or computer skills. Strong English speaking and writing skills are required.

We are seeking individuals who are patient and empathetic towards adults learning to upgrade their literacy skills.

A 12 hour training session is provided to teach tutoring techniques for teaching adults. Ongoing training is offered. Please click here for the Volunteer tutor job description and here for a volunteer application.
Our next training session is February 18th and 25th
 from 9:30-4:00 pm in Kitchener.
If you are interested, please call Joyce 519-743-6090 or Tanya 519-621-7993.
